About Us
Supplying high quality distiller’s grain-based livestock feed supplements across Australia and New Zealand
Who
SweetPro Feed Supplements are currently being imported by MSM Milling which is a 100% Australian family owned company based in Manildra in the heart of the New South Wales farming belt.
Where
SweetPro Feed Supplements are currently being imported from the United States in container loads and distributed across the country. In the near future, SweetPro Australia will be building a production facility here in Australia, producing the same high-quality product that SweetPro in America has been known for over the past 25 years.
What
Everyone with livestock is looking for a better, more cost-effective alternative to traditional feed supplements. Dried distiller’s grain with solubles (DDGS) is an excellent, alternative feed ingredient. The high energy, mid-protein, and high digestible phosphorus content of DDGS make it a very attractive, partial replacement for some of the more expensive, traditional energy (sorghum), protein (cottonseed meal), and phosphorus (mono- or dicalcium phosphate) traditionally used in animal feeds. When DDGS is added to properly formulated feeds, it results in excellent animal health, performance, and food product quality. These attributes, and others, have made DDGS one of the most popular feed ingredients for use in animal feeds around the world.
When DDGS and DDG solubles are combined with the patented formulation of ProBiotien (fermented flax, barley, oats and wheat) and a superior mix of vitamins and minerals, the results are impressive. A noticeable improvement in animal digestive health, better calving rates, better weight gain, better performance. In horses the coats shine, the hooves improve, and the general health of the animal is noticeable within the first two weeks.
How
SweetPro products are imported in to the Port of Brisbane and other Australian ports for warehousing and distribution to customers. A distributor network has been established nationwide and is posted on our website. Customers can order through their regional distributor.
What are the advantages of SweetPro® blocks over traditional lick blocks?
NO MOLASSES & NO UREA
SweetPro products feature fermented distillers feeds. Condensed distillers solubles (CDS) are used instead of molasses. CDS have similar binding and aroma benefits, but they are much higher in protein and fat than molasses. And they have NO sugar content to negatively affect the rumen and drive down pH.
Condensed distillers solubles are noted for their protein quality and complex carbohydrate energy values.
All the vitamins, minerals, and digestive minerals are delivered in our patented solid carrier of distillers grains and solubles with high bio-availability. Consumption is targeted to .34 to .56 kg per head/per day.
Digestive support from SweetPro’s unique blend of yeast, prebiotics, vitamins and minerals helps maintain animal health and reduces costs because feed is digested more efficiently.
PROTEIN
Protein in SweetPro® blocks is from safe sources.
SweetPro 16, Cattle Kandi, Starter, Pasture Ranger, PowerMate and Fresh Start blocks contain only natural protein.
FiberMate, Magnum and Dry Cow blocks have a mix of mostly natural protein along with ammonium sulfate and biuret which have a slow nitrogen release. NO urea is used.
Protein in SweetPro has a high “rumen by-pass” value. Cows produce more milk for demanding “growthy” calves, while the calves themselves get better protein for frame development by licking the blocks alongside the cow.
ENERGY AND DIGESTIBILITY
The energy in SweetPro is from complex carbohydrates, not simple sugar. These complex carbohydrates help minimise digestive disruption while high fat levels additionally boost energy.
Yeast from fermentation also aid in digestion and feed efficiency.
- University trials show that SweetPro supports excellent feed efficiency –
unparalleled among lick blocks. - Healthy animals net back more profit.
- When animals get proper nutrients in the right form, vaccines work better too.
- With SweetPro, keeping animals healthy has never been easier.
